Parties

This Agreement, effective as of the invoice date, is between Trusty Garage Door Repair Plano (“Contractor”) and the customer listed on the invoice (“Customer”).

Project Description

The Contractor agrees to provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work described in the invoice titled “SERVICES/MATERIALS.” If additional space is needed for the description, it will be included on attached sheets.

Payment Policy

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins.
  • Full payment is due upon completion of the work.
  • Once work begins or parts have been delivered, the sale is final.
  • Deposits may be processed over the phone.
  • Coupons are valid only at the time of estimate or repair and cannot be combined with other offers.
  • Credit cards and checks are accepted.
  • Returned, cancelled, or NSF checks will incur a $50 fee.

Non-Payment and Ownership of Materials

All materials and equipment remain the property of Trusty Garage Door Repair Plano until full payment is received.
In the event of non-payment, the Contractor reserves the right to pursue all remedies available under Texas law, including filing a mechanic’s lien or taking legal action to recover unpaid amounts.

The Customer agrees to be responsible for all costs of collection, including attorney fees. Any delivered but uninstalled materials remain the Contractor’s property and may be reclaimed if payment is not received.

Lien Rights Disclosure

In accordance with Texas law, the Contractor reserves the right to file a mechanic’s lien against the property for unpaid labor, services, or materials. This lien may affect the title to your property.

Credit Card Transactions

Customer authorizes the card issuer to pay the amount indicated on this invoice and acknowledges receipt of services.
All services and parts are non-refundable and due upon completion.
A convenience fee of up to 4% applies for credit card payments.

Authorized Work and Property Access

Customer affirms they are the property owner or have full authority to permit the Contractor to perform the services listed in this agreement.
Technicians are authorized representatives of Trusty Garage Door Repair Plano and may collect signatures or payments as part of service completion.

Preparation Requirements

The garage must be cleared at least 10 feet back from the door opening before installation or service begins.

Warranty Information

Manufacturer warranties for motors, doors, and sections are processed directly through the manufacturer.
A copy of the original invoice is required for warranty validation.
If the Customer has purchased a Limited Warranty Policy from Trusty Garage Door Repair Plano, the following terms apply:

LIMITED WARRANTY POLICIES (If Purchased)

Availability: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Service Call Fee: $49 after 30 days from the original service date

Labor Coverage:

  • Labor not included after 30 days

Exclusions:

  • Damage to garage contents
  • Force adjustments on openers
  • Safety sensor realignment issues ($89 fee applies)
  • Light bulbs not included


Part Coverage:

  • Covers part cost only


Void if:

  • Repairs are attempted by third parties
  • Invoice not presented at appointment
  • Damage caused by other operators or acts of God


Usage Policy:

  • Customer must stop using the door and await technician inspection


Scope:

  • Covers normal wear only; excludes external impact damage


Non-transferable and non-refundable

Text Message Communications

By providing a phone number, the Customer consents to receive service-related and promotional messages from Trusty Garage Door Repair Plano.

Arbitration Agreement

All disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Attorney Fees

The prevailing party in any arbitration or legal proceeding is entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Acknowledgement

By signing, the Customer agrees to all terms and conditions stated above.
